Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is an experienced, retained search consultant with a reputation for developing and conducting quality senior level assignments as a generalist or in a focused industry segment. He/she will be able to demonstrate a reputation for serving clients successfully and providing counsel to senior management in a broad range of organizational matters.

Associate

As an Associate, you will contribute to every part of the search process, ensuring the ultimate success of the assignments the firm accepts. The Associate plays a key role in the execution of the search and delivery of service, working with the client and candidates to bring the search to successful closure. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing with the client a position description based on their hiring needs and your experience
    in the market place.
  • Developing and communicating the research strategy internally and setting a reasonable search time line internally and with the client.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with the client regarding search progress, market intelligence and potential candidates.
  • Interviewing and assessing on the phone and in person the final candidates for presentation to the client.
  • Assistance in scheduling interviews, facilitating the decision making process and offer negotiation.

The successful candidate will have two or more years of experience in executive search, with an in-depth understanding of the search process and experience in each part of the process. The ability to develop a search strategy, execute that strategy and deliver excellent candidates as a result is key.

The ability to define and assess the required skills and competencies through the interviewing process and then to communicate those to the client is imperative. In addition the ability to build consensus and rapport through verbal communication is considered essential. Impeccable personal and professional standards that include integrity, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and a drive for excellence are highly valued.
