ATLANTA, GA. — Handler is pleased to announce the launch of a Director Human Resources  search located in Atlanta for one of its finest  clients, the S.P. Richards Company.   We believe the ideal candidate is part of our Handler Network and that’s why we wanted to share some additional information with you.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of Human Resources experience as a generalist HR professional including demonstrated understanding and experience in human relations, HR legal policies, payroll and benefits, workers’ compensation, HRIS, and DE&I policies. We seek a candidate who is committed to the human resources profession and is seeking to grow their career into a senior leadership role. This person should be comfortable working in a relatively flat organization and be agile / flexible to serve where leadership is needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate a leadership commitment and experience to professionally develop the HR Team as they grow in their careers. We seek a professional with the ability to leverage their strong technology/ MS Office skills to advance key initiatives throughout the department.   A Bachelor of Business Degree from a four-year accredited college or university, required. Advanced degree preferred.

Additional requirements include:
▪Directs and coordinates activities of HR department for which responsibility is delegated to further
attainment of goals
▪Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress
▪Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range
objectives including DE&I initiatives
▪Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets executive management information needs
▪Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan
▪Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs
▪Writes directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment
opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits
▪Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law
▪Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local
governing bodies
▪Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human
resources policies and practices
