Handler Announces Director of Global ESG Reporting search on behalf of Genuine Parts Company
ATLANTA, GA. – September 28, 2023–We are pleased to announce Handler’s launch of a search for Genuine Parts Company looking to hire a Director Global ESG Reporting. Many are familiar with GPC due to their NAPA brand.
The Director Global ESG Reporting will design and implement disclosure controls and procedures and provide oversight over global ESG disclosures in European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (EU CSRD), SEC filings, publicly available sustainability reports, and other statutory ESG filings in various domestic and international jurisdictions (the “ESG disclosures”).
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of strong finance and accounting background with experience in global ESG reporting processes, internal controls and systems. We seek a candidate knowledgeable in global ESG related disclosures and industry trends and a willingness to develop a level of expert knowledge. This professional must possess the technical acumen to read and interpret highly technical global documentation. We believe an auditing background could be highly valuable.
Finally, we seek a financial executive with proven leadership success needed to build a high performing ESG Program and team at GPC.
