Handler Announces NAPA Director of Sourcing Search

This leadership role is the opportunity to lead the expansion of NAPA’s direct import strategy developing supplier relationships and processes from factory to distribution.  This is an impactful role that leverages a 100-year, global, Fortune 200 enterprise with extraordinary transformational sourcing strategies and it will be integral in NAPA’s leadership succession plan. You will lead NAPA’s end-to-end sourcing function, forge strong supplier partnerships, and spearhead multi-year strategies that optimize value and diversify the company’s global supply base.

Specific functions and responsibilities of the position include:

  • Champion continuous improvement through data-driven decision making and innovative sourcing technologies
  • Mitigate supply risks and manage supplier performance while overseeing budgets, rebates, and supplier incentives
  • Lead and develop a growing high-performing sourcing team committed to delivering best-in-class supplier negotiations and contract management
  • Drive category-specific sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, supplier diversification, and supply continuity
  • Execute multi-year global sourcing initiatives, including direct import strategies aligned with business goals
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams—Merchandising, Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance—to ensure seamless execution and strong supplier relationships
