Handler Announces NAPA Manager Sourcing Search
ATLANTA, GA. – October 21, 2025 —We are pleased to announce Handler’s launch of a search for Genuine Parts Company’s “US Automotive Group” to hire a Manager Sourcing. Many know this company under its popular “NAPA” brand.
This Sourcing Manager role is a critical driver of our direct imports strategy, leading cost-saving initiatives, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing across a global supplier network. With strong cross-functional influence, this role ensures alignment between procurement, logistics, inventory, and international teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results. It is a high-impact position that demands strategic thinking, global execution, and continuous improvement to strengthen our competitive edge. We are looking for a results-oriented, analytically driven professional to lead sourcing strategies that deliver measurable value across a dynamic and growing global supply chain.
The ideal candidate for the Sourcing Manager role at NAPA is a high-energy, strategic thinker with proven global sourcing experience, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings and supply chain efficiencies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a mindset of extreme ownership and accountability in all responsibilities. The professional skills we seek include:
-3–5 years of experience in global sourcing, supply chain, or category management who is comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical levels
- Expertise in executing RFPs and managing supplier relationships, especially within direct imports
- Proficiency in sourcing tools such as COUPA, D365, Wrike, Excel, and Power BI or similar platforms
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
-Ability to manage supplier negotiations and long-term strategic agreements
-Experience collaborating with procurement, quality, logistics, and international teams
-Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet aggressive deadlines
-Knowledge of trade policy, compliance standards, and supplier contract terminology
-Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required
Education Requirement — Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field from an accredited college or university is required.
