Handler Announces NAPA Senior Manager Cost Management Search
ATLANTA, GA. – August 27, 2026 – We are pleased to announce Handler’s launch of a search for NAPA to hire a Senior Manager Cost Management to be located at headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, commercially minded cost-management leader who can step in quickly and add value without needing to learn the discipline from the ground up. They will bring hands-on experience with should-cost modeling, commodity-driven cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and product/manufacturing cost drivers, along with the judgment to translate rigorous analysis into practical business decisions.
This person must balance analytical depth with speed and flexibility. They should know when an analysis is sufficiently complete to support action, recognize that the best commercial outcome may differ from the theoretical model, and remain focused on measurable value rather than perfection. Strong cross-functional influence, ownership, and the ability to develop a growing team will be important to success.
The professional skills we seek include:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
▪ At least 5 years of relevant progressive experience, with direct hands-on cost management, cost modeling, cost engineering, manufacturing cost estimation, product cost analysis, procurement, or global sourcing experience
▪ Demonstrated expertise in should-cost modeling and the ability to build or adjust cost models based on commodity pricing and other underlying cost drivers
▪ Significant supplier negotiation experience, including data-driven contract and cost negotiations in a global or complex supplier environment
▪ Strong financial acumen with advanced Excel modeling and data-analysis capability
▪ Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply-chain dynamics, commodities, and product cost drivers
