Handler Announces Search for Global Key Account Manager for TekniPlex

Atlanta, GA. – October 18, 2025 We are honored to announce Handler’s launch of a retained search to hire a Global Key Account Manager for one of our clients, TekniPlex, a well-established, global manufacturing organization serving both the industrial and consumer markets, this company delivers highly engineered products and solutions used in everyday life across a wide range of sectors.

The Global Key Account Manager (GKAM) is a high-visibility, strategically critical role within TekniPlex’s Integrated Performance Solutions (IPS) group. Responsible for ~$25–30M in global account revenue, the GKAM will serve as lead on one global account and supporting partner on several others. This individual will develop and execute global account strategies, build wide and deep customer relationships, and coordinate across regions to deliver profitable growth. The role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence without direct authority, and the skill to balance customer advocacy with TekniPlex objectives.

The Global Key Account Manager is accountable for driving sales and margin growth and ensuring customer satisfaction through strategic account planning, execution, and cross-regional coordination. This individual will lead one global account while supporting several others, balancing customer advocacy with TekniPlex objectives and presenting regularly to senior leadership.

Key qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive Key Account Management experience, including direct involvement in managing complex global accounts within the last 12 months and supporting global teams
  • Proven record of delivering profitable growth, ideally within flexible packaging, dispensing, or closures, and experience commercializing new products and solutions
  • Strong financial and business acumen is essential, including expertise in pricing, forecasting, and contract negotiations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database management tools is expected
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (including international travel)
