Handler Announces Sr. Director Human Resource Operations Search for Genuine Parts Company

We are pleased to announce Handler’s launch of a search for Genuine Parts Company to hire a Sr. Director Human Resource Operations at their headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an accomplished HR Operations/Shared Services leader with experience leading a large, complex service organization. They will bring a strong track record of operational excellence, transformation and team leadership, with the ability to set clear priorities, balance strategic and operational demands, and modernize service delivery through technology, automation and AI. They will be an effective change leader who can bring clarity and structure in an evolving environment, strengthen leadership capability, and build a sustainable talent pipeline. Equally important, they will be a strong relationship builder and trusted thought partner who can connect teams across organizational boundaries, anticipate business needs, enable effective decision-making, and drive accountability throughout the organization
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR Operations experience, including leadership of a large, multi-functional HR Shared Services organization encompassing employee lifecycle, HR administration, benefits and leave administration, and employee service delivery.
- Proven success leading HR Operations transformation and change, including service delivery redesign, process optimization, automation and organizational change.
- Demonstrated operational excellence, using metrics, analytics and service standards to improve efficiency, accountability and employee experience.
- Experience modernizing HR service delivery through technology, automation and AI, with the ability to translate innovation into practical business results.
- Proven success building and developing high-performing leadership teams while leading through significant change and driving accountability.
- Executive-level influence and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner across business and HR leadership, navigate complex stakeholder environments and serve as a trusted thought partner.
Education Requirement — Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field required
