About Alissa

The mom that holds us together

Alissa joined Handler in November 2020 bringing over two decades of search industry experience to the firm.  In her role, she is responsible for assimilating the business development, marketing, search operations, accounting and administrative aspects of the business. Focused on managing and leading the day-to-day operations, projects, and issues that arise as the people, processes, and products come together as part of the business plan of the firm.

What a leader worth following means to Alissa:

Someone with morals and ethics, gets inspiration from within, and cares more for their team than the bottom dollar.

Prior to joining Handler, Alissa spent eighteen years with AGResearch International LLC, most recently as President, COO.  During her tenure, she managed the day-to-day operations of the firm and exclusively managed the research team.  Alissa and her team served over 2,000 research projects and executed over 650 full lifecycle searches. Alissa provided consultative ideas and solutions to clients on strategy and execution of their search needs.  Prior to joining AGResearch, Alissa held the position of Director of Research at two retained search firms and formerly managed her own research firm.  Originally from New York, Alissa has been in the Atlanta area for over thirty years.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, lake life, and volunteering in her local community.

Meet her dog, Langley

Langley is approximately 10-years old, we adopted her from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. She is a Giant Schnauzer weighing in at 95 pounds and thinks she is a lap dog. Her favorite toy is a squeaky Kong tennis ball and she loves riding in the car!
